The Bexhill Rotary Club, one of many clubs in the area, is part of Rotary District 1120. It received its charter from Rotary International on 18th July 1923. The club meets fortnightly on the first and Third Tuesday at 7.00pm at the Cooden Beach Golf Club, but holds functions or charity events most weeks. Rotary is primarily a service, rather than fund raising, organisation and supports the local community though the schools, various special needs and elderly persons groups. It also has a major role in International projects which include the erradication of Polio worldwide. |
