Elvis Tribute Night With Chris Field

Bexhill United FC’s Reserves take to the field in a Sussex County:- Reserve Section East clash against Worthing United FC with a 3pm kick off.

Folk, Blues And Soul With Mollie Tucker And Tom Cole

We have two different acts for you on this lazy Sunday afternoon. Tom is a wonderful bluesy folky singer covering some great songs and artists from the likes of Johnny Cash, Woody Guthrie, Paul Wellar and Bob Dylan.

Mollie has a delightful voice and covers a huge range of pop, country and folk, in her unique soulfull style, think Kate Bush/Dolly parton with guitar!

Showcasing hidden treasures, and fascinating stories about cultures and collectors. Visually stunning objects from Africa, Asia, South America and the Pacific will be displayed for the first time, demonstrating a breadth of creativity, ingenuity and diversity.

Captain Flinn And The Pirate Dinosaurs
Sunday 22nd

Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs are setting sail on a new adventure in 2015 following a rollicking award-winning run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, London Wonderground and Southbank Centre!

This is a bright sparky production, filled with hum-along songs, beautiful puppets and a lot of imagination (Time Out). Based on the award-winning book by Purple Ronnie creator, Giles Andrea and Russell Ayto, Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs has been adapted for the stage by Nicole Lewis and Oliver Lansley, and was originally directed by Emma Earle.

When Flinn discovers a pirate hiding in the school supply closet, it's all aboard, me hearties, for a real live pirate adventure! Captain Stubble needs Flinn's help to find his stolen ship, but there are some mean pirate dinosaurs on the loose, and Flinn and his friends soon sail into trouble... Will fearless Flinn be able to captain the ship and defeat the pirate dinosaurs? Will Pirate Pearl be brave enough to battle the dangerous dinos and will terrified Tom be back in time for tea? All aboard for a non-stop action-packed theatrical experience with live music, puppetry, physical performance and dastardly dinosaurs!

This super story is brought perfectly to the stage with imagination, creativity and really excellent props (Curious Mum).

Adults and Children alike with be delighted (Edinburgh Spotlight).

Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs has been brought to life by Les Petits Theatre Company; the exciting children’s theatre company from the team behind internationally-acclaimed theatre company, Les Enfants Terribles. Les Petits aims to ignite children’s imaginations through the magic of theatre and storytelling.

Captain Flinn and the Pirate Dinosaurs was the winner of the Primary Times Children’s Choice Award 2012.

Moscow Ballet - Swan Lake

First presented, with choreography by Julius Reisinger, at the Bolshoi Theatre, Moscow 4 March 1877 but superceded by a new choreographic version by Marius Petipa and Lev Ivanov at the Maryinsky Theatre, St. Petersburg 8 February 1895 and subsequently established as one of the masterpieces of ballet.

The famous Act II of Swan Lake, choreographed by Ivanov as part of a memorial tribute to Tchaikovsky who had died the year before, is performed by almost every ballet company in the world.

The ballet is a favourite of ballerinas and audiences alike; all leading dancers want to dance Swan Lake during their careers and all audiences want to see them dance in this, the ultimate fairy tale ballet.

The world-renowned Moscow Ballet - La Classique demonstrate their continued quality of dance and performance in a dramatic production of this timeless favourite set to Tchaikovsky's superb score.

Starfish Marathon And Races

Bexhill Rowing Club. Bexhill.
The Starfish Marathon and Races will take place on the 10 May 2015. There are four races being held on the day, a full marathon, a half marathon and two relay races for either 2 or 4 people.
The race will be run in loops along Bexhill seafront starting and finishing at Bexhill Rowing Club.
There will prizes awarded in each race along with spot prizes and each entrant will be entered in a prize draw to win £100.00.
