Christmas Light Switch-on in Bexhill Town Centre

Friday 2nd December 2011 from 5pm  

Carol singing from 4pm - 6pm. Schools have been invited to contribute to the event with singing some carols, and also a choir from the local churches will be leading the singing of favourite carols.


Family Festive Day In Bexhill Town Centre

Saturday 3rd December 2011 from 11am  

The Bexhill Traders Group are hosting their first Family Festive Fun Day on the 3rd December between 11am and 3pm with various events around the town centre!

Santa has left his sleigh at home for the day and will be driven around town courtesy of the Bexhill 100 Motoring Club before he arrives at his grotto, Join in with the carol singers and other entertainment. The cast of Dick Whittington which is being produced by BLODS will be in town, as will the East Sussex School of Performing Arts group that are putting on Peter Pan next year.

Enter the raffle in aid of The Tree of Hope children's charity full of prizes donated by local traders, and there is a 'Spot the Stranger' competition for the Kids to see if they can find the object that is the odd one out in shops with prizes for those that spot the most! Pick up the card from Bexhill Library (Western Road) with a Balloon and puzzle book.

Individual businesses will be entering into the festive spirit well with special offers, lucky dips and festive treats for the day and their own 'mini events' in stores around the town.
