Living On Bexhill

posted by steven on 10 Mar 2016 at 11:10 am

I've lived in Bexhill for the past 5 years, it's a nice place to live, has all the shops u need, including charity shops, (with more coming) people are friendly, shop owners are polite, lovely walks along the beach, beautiful laid out park, and surrounding areas ain't bad either, there's loads of different events go on during the year, mainly in the summer. Which draws lots of people, so all in all Bexhill is a nice place to live.

I am visiting Bexhill in early April to have a good look around the area. I am moving on my own & looking for a nice safe, friendly area to start a new life. I am in my early 60's so its a big move for me. Any comments on nice Streets, Roads. I am possible looking for ground floor with small garden for myself & little cat. Thank you if you are able to give any comments.

Moving House

We are moving to bexhill in about a years time after our youngest daughter finishes high school. we hope to be living in a quiet road near a college and open spaces for our other daughter who has autism. Our family loves Bexhill as we visit there as often as we can.We want to live in a bungalow backing onto fields or woods. We would love to hear from locals about the area and best places to live as this would be our last move, our forever home so we don,t want to get it wrong.Thank you very much for all your help and we can't wait to get down there.

Local Buses

Anybody wishing to move to Bexhill, think twice. The local bus operated by Renown is disgraceful. Very rarely on time, or no buses at all. Over Easter, there were no local buses to get the people out and about to enjoy. Its appalling. If you do move to Bexhll, make sure you are near a Stagecoach bus stop. Their service is superb.Wish Renown could follow their example.
