Tree Huggers

I have been reading alot and watching the news about all the people hanging out of trees on the route of the new link road, I have a few questions for them or anyone else that would like to weigh in.
1 ) How many trees have you grown this year?
2 ) How many trees have you planted this year?
3 ) And now knowing that the road is under way what are you going to do to add more trees to the route of the link road.
In stead of digging tunnels and hanging out of trees maybe you would be better off employing your time looking at ways that you can improve on the environment after the road is built, because it will be built that is a given what happens afterwards is up to you, maybe organize a tree planting weekend or 2
,Add something positive to the project not nothing but negativity.

Nice one Dave.

Maybe they could plant trees alongside the new road to encourage wildlife and keep the noise to a minimum.

New Road Trees

There are plans to plant many trees along the new road and also many water features, 20 years from now it will all look great and the people will have fallen out of their trees with boredom and finally admit that progress is required, after all if beeching hadn't closed the railway, they would have been looking at trains for the last 40 years instead of nice trees.and if the railway hadn't been built in the first place it would have been roads and houses already.
