Bexhill Beach Groynes

Not sure when but there were groynes in the 1910/11 photo (from the photographs booklet ?Old Bexhill? by Charles Kayes dated 2002) and another photo of a beach without the groynes in 1902. Also checking on the old-maps.co.uk for Bexhill, the groynes were shown on the 1909 map but not in 1899 so the timber groynes may have been constructed between 1900 and 1910. East Sussex Record Office may have some information should you need to know. Good luck.
