Prices Of Houses 1944

In 1944 the Observer only had 4 pages in thos days so no property page. Is there enybody that would remember,Prices 5 beds 2/3 reseption, May be terraced close to station and sea front on level ground.

Pre-war Prices

What I do know is that my parents lived in Windsor Road from around 1944. In 1945 after the war he was offered the house to purchase for ?200 they must be around ?170,000 now
