Cooden Beach Country Club

Someone I met for the first time in London today told me that her now 92-year old father, who has now lived in Dorset for decades, used to 'run' the Cooden - or Cooden Beach - Country Club. She was interested to know where it used to be and what became of it and I told her I would post a message on this website in case anyone remembers it and/or could give me any information; you would have to have a long memory as I suspect we're going back to the 50s. I do remember there being tennis courts next to or near Cooden Beach Golf Club years and years ago - might that be the same place I wonder?
