I am looking forward to cheering on the torchbearers running through Bexhill tomorrow .Am perplexed as to why there are 11 men and only 1 woman chosen? Can someone explain to me this discrepancy ?I am sure they are all upstanding members of the community but also cant understand why 2 of our 12 torchbearers hometowns are in Germany ?What was the criteria for selection ?Just a bit baffled can anyone explain? Many thanks Wendy Hasnip.

Are you the Wendy Hasnip who posted in the Pendragon School thread back in 2011?
I remember a teacher whose name I remember as Mrs Izzard, if you go to the thread and read up you will see my post.
It was a long time ago though, I remember that I couldn't spell mystery without using an i instead of the y and she explained it to me(funny what you remember isn't it?)
