I am a Bexhillian and have over the last couple of years become more stuck at home due to ill health. My close friends have moved away and I find myself with lots of time on my hands and no girl friends to share a cuppa and a giggle with! I have no hobbies or interests as such as I have spent the last 18 years looking after my daughter and her needs. Is there anyone out there in the same position who just wants a new friend to meet up with ?

Hello Clare.
I am a carer to my adult son so I know how isloating it can feel when for whatever reason you find yourself unable to get out and socialise. My friends live in London, so it would be lovely to maybe get to know a friend locally. Perhaps you might like to respond here initially? Hope to maybe here from you soon. Jennie.

Hi,
I have been googling groups and events in Bexhill and have stumbled across this page. I have been severely restricted mobility-wise since an accident almost 18months ago. I suffer severe back pain but do you know what? I don't want to join a pain management group, i just want to make some new friends- ive been down here for almost 4 years and my old work mates from hastings have all drifted away. I'm addicted to diet coke and primark, and i just want a giggle and to forget about my problems by meeting new people. Let me know if you'd be interested in making a new friend :)
