Bexhill - Coldest Place On Earth ?

Apart from Moscow and Toronto, I truly believe Bexhill to be among the coldest places on earth. Which begs the question as to exactly why so many elderly people choose to spend their retirement years here ! When I am of such an age the last place I would wish to move to would be such a wind-blasted piece of "little Antarctica". Anyone else feel the chill when in Bexhill ?
Don't try to tell me it's "bracing" !!

Boldwood books - you are wrong, so wrong. Bexhill has a cracking climate. Is your shop now closed?
