New To Bexhill, Making Friends

posted by Jack on 12 Jun 2014 at 1:57 am

Hey all, I have recently moved down to Bexhill due to parents wanting to retire. I am a 24 year old male and to be honest, am finding it difficult to find things to do and people to meet. Is anyone else in the same position? Can anyone give advice on the best way to meet people my age? I am in to creating music and going for a few beers more often than not haha.

Regards,

Jack

Hi Jack,

I feel as though I am in a similar position being 24 myself, although I have lived in Bexhill for most of my life.

Am looking to widen my social circle and meet new people. Would be great to meet up if fancy it and show you around town and the local area.

I've taken to the water recently in a kayak and have found quite a lot of new friends, and now there are a few of us . It's a great way to get fit or just enjoy looking back at the land but we fish sometimes , stop on the beach for chips and a chat before heading back to stamco....it's a good laugh and it's nice to have proper conversations with people without the pregnant pauses you can get in some situations...I've got 2 large siton teksport kayaks and am happy to go out with you on the water if you fancy a change of scenery..... [REDACTED]ring me if you're up for it. Xx
