Bexhillians are being urged to back a move aimed at giving the community a greater say in its own affairs and sign a petition calling for the town to have its own Area Committee.

I am interested to understand how this fits in with the Bexhill Forum, which for 17 years has provided a non-political channel for people to share their views. Most recently it has managed to cut down Rother Councils plans for effectively destroying the Oasis on the sea front. Its managed to save about two thirds of the garden. It has also represented views on things like car parking and the terrible bus service (99)
After 20 years, and as most activity has moved to other platforms such as Facebook Groups, we have made the decision to close the message board. We are no longer accepting new posts.
All existing threads have been preserved in a read-only archive. In accordance with our obligations under UK GDPR, we will be removing all email addresses and personal contact information from our records within the next 30 days.
