Waterfront Club

Hi. Having recently moved to Bexhill I've noticed the Waterfront private members clubs looks like it has a good spot overlooking the beach. Does anyone recommend it and is there a website or contact email for them?

I Can Tell You That

I found it rather clicky.

now that doesn't mean that you won't like it.

they seem to be shut a lot at this time of year.

Alternative?

OK, thanks. Have you tried the Rowing Social Club? If so, is that any better? I'm not a rower but quite fancy the environment if they take non-rowing members.

Sorry But I Dont Know.

I have never been in there.

Royal British Legion Bexhill

Don't know your age group, but you could consider the Royal British Legion in Bexhill town hall square for a friendly drink at favourable club prices. They have a darts and snooker team, live music most Saturdays, jazz oncexa month, a brilliant monthly quiz night and bingo. A very friendly club and you do not have to be ex-services to join. I believe you can go in and have a look round to see what's on offer.

We have lived in Bexhill just over a year, and during that time we have joined three clubs, and love them all for different reasons.
The Royal British Legion in Little Common, like the one in Bexhill mentioned above, have a lot of activities and entertainment and cheap drinks.
The Waterfront Club has a lovely position, lovely food and really pleasant staff. It's a relaxed place to meet friends and comfortable if you want to sit by yourself.
The Albatross Club (RAF) is friendly, has various activities and good beer. We joined on an evening after there had been a committee meeting, and without exception found the people welcoming.
We are lucky to have such a choice!!

We've lived in Bexhill just over a year and have joined the Waterfront Club. Great place to eat on their terrace on a sunny day, excellent food. They also put on a very good quiz once a month, teams mainly of 6 people but can be less. Costs £4 with refreshments mid-way and all the takings go to Charity.

Hi Jacquie, Can my sister Jill Fox use the club next week? She is in Bexhill for 3 days and would love to come, probably for a meal. I can lend her my card.
Cheers Carol

Just pop along to The Waterfront & ask to join. The club has only recently been taken over & I can see it being an even better venue than it is now. Yearly membership £40 which allows you to take guests.
