Structure In Sea

posted by Allan Smart on 29 Jul 2015 at 7:01 pm

My wife and I love to walk on the seafront at Bexhill whenever we visit the area. In the last week we were looking out to sea and could see a structure which resembled a container ship, but was not a ship! I searched on the internet and found a similar question from last year, but with no answer. It is not Royal Sovereign Light, does anyone have any idea what it is please?
Thanks.

Hi,

I think I can help.
What I believe you are seeing out there is the Sovereign Light Tower.

It's a type of light house used as a warning for treacherous waters.

If you google the name sovereign light tower you'll find some photographs and YouTube videos.

I hope this helped,

David
