Cramp Family Australia

posted by Lee Crawley on 06 Jan 2016 at 11:58 pm

I am a descendant of Jury Cramp who came to Australia and have a lot of information on the family in Australia. I found also some information on the sale of Cramps Farm, Bexhill. A cousin Robert Baker use to write a newsletter 'Descendants of Jury Cramp'. A snippet ... Cramps farm was in the triangle between Holliers Hill and Wrestwood Road, then called Haddocks Hill. A syndicate headed by Joseph Brown, Chairman of the Hastings and St Leonards Gas Company, brought the land at Cramps Farm. This land was laid out as a building estate, and St John's and St James Roads are there..
There was a post in 2008 of a Richard who had the history of the Cramp family back to 1550? I would like this information. I can certainly provide the Australian story. Thanks Lee
