We are interested in forming a Boules club in the Area and are asking Patrick our Mayor if a court or two could be built somewhere locally.
Anyone interested should contact us on [REDACTED] or e-mail [REDACTED] leaving their details.
Contacting the Mayor would also help this along. We have an expert locally who has offered to help any beginners learn the game.

Hi Ron,
I was wandering the site doing my family tree when I noted your message.
As an Australian representative at the world championships in 2000 France, I wish you all the best in getting up and running.
Petanque is for the serious competitor or just for fun, and any age!
If I ever get to England researching my family tree I'll certainly drop in and have a game!
Kind regards
Sherrie Williams

I suppose by now that everyone knows there is a boules/petanque area on the new seafront western half, about in the middle.

The area offered is too small and too restrictive. It is a danger to all in the vicinity. A steel netted fence would be required to make it totally safe.30f75

Hi
Did anything come off this? I used to play competitively in the then Kent leagues and having moved to Hooe would like to lay again. Any news would be most welcome!
