As I sat drinking tea this morning in the Ark Coffee lounge at St Mark's church, downstairs the hall was being used as a polling station. During our conversations someone said that turn out at the last election of a Police and Crime Commissioner was only 15%. This is truly a sad reflection on the disconnection between candidates/ parties and the electors. However were churches on a Sunday to get 15% of the population coming to services we would be talking of a huge revival! Perhaps it is time churches campaigned in their areas?
