People may have seen my letter in the Bexhill Observer titled - Can you read all five paperbacks?
There are various groups with Summer reading challenges, one is for children as young as 5 to read 6 books by the same famous children's author, another is to read as many paperbacks as possible in the summer months (June, July & August) with the organiser aiming for 50!
It got me thinking that we could read the 5 paperback sections of the Bible - Law, History, Poetry, Prophets, New Testament - in the same or similar time period of 120 days. I checked the word counts for each section and they are very similar to the best selling paperbacks.
So if you'd like to join in either answer here or add me on Facebook - Paul Minter.
Day 30 - 1/4 Of The Way Already.

It is day 30 of the Summer Bible reading challenge. We are in the second paperback, the History, and finished the book of 2 Samuel today. Tomorrow begins 1 Kings with the death of King David and his son Solomon enters the story. Every reading has a YouTube link for those who like to listen to the reading. Just add me on Facebook - Paul Minter - or speak to me at a local church, I visit quite a few every week. Reading the whole Bible in 120 days. When this challenge ends, the next is ready to go. October will be a great month!
