I visited 13 of our Bexhill churches today. 12 were locked, only St Augustine's was unlocked. All the halls were locked, perhaps some scouts were using St Michaels, they were outside.
It's Bank Holiday Monday, the beginning of the school half term holidays, why aren't there activities going on in all these church halls and churches. They get charitable status by saying they are helping the local community, and all that money from council and government pots, lottery and many more.
One church stands out this Bank Holiday weekend, Christchurch Methodist and their 3 day Flower Festival. Not just for Christians, but the whole community.

It's been too long since I popped in, I must get to a Sunday service. God bless.
