Finding My Dad

I am currently trying to find my dad. His name is Fred he was an inpatient at bexhill hospital around 1967-1972. Fred met my mother Ida Dawn Thomas around June-July 1968 at Lyme Regis. They went to the coach and horses a lot.
I don,t have a last name, that went with my mother's to the grave. This a long shot!
