Bexhill Observer Promotes Cheaper Hastings Edition.

Our local paper is 90p bought in shops each week. You can save 20% and pay 72p if you subscribe and pay in advance. However on page 52 of today's paper is an ad to subscribe to the Hastings Observer and save 50%, pay only 45p a week.

Isn't this an insult to regular buyers of the Bexhill Observer? I am very tempted by this offer because much of the Bexhill Observer is not about Bexhill so I could get many of the same articles at a cheaper price.

It is long past the time when the Bexhill, Hastings and Battle Observers need to become 1 paper under a new name. The inside has articles even further afield than those 3 areas covered by those papers. Let's change the front cover, and be honest and transparent.
