Family Research - Payne

posted by Dawn Bloomfield on 24 Feb 2017 at 10:05 pm

On the 1911 census I have found members of my family by the name of Payne living at 116 Station Road, Bexhill. Some names have never previously been mentioned. These are Mary Payne aged 19 and Raschelle Payne aged . They are daughters of Harriet Payne aged 48 who was a widow aged 48 and Head of the Household. My Grandfather, Percy Curl Leonard Payne aged 7, was her grandson and living with her, as was a Nurse Child, William Barker aged 3. The other person living there was a boarded, Edward Wenham, aged 32. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who could help me identify the daughters and/or with any other information. Thank you

Further information regarding my family - surname Payne.

My mother's name was Violet Elsie Emily Payne and she was born in the 1920s. She went to St Barnabas School and she lived with her parents, Percy Curl Leonard Payne and Violet Primrose Payne (nee Higgs) in one of the Coastguard Cottages on Galley Hill.

I omitted the age of Raschelle Payne on my previous thread. She was 17 on the 1911 census.
