Does anyone know the history of Gotham Wood, in particular the unusual house of the same name?

The lady that owned Gotham Wood House in the late 60's built a Colt house in the grounds on the East side to live in and sold Gotham Wood House.I rebuilt the Colt House in 2009. Gotham Wood House was converted into a care home but some years later it was coverted back into 5 apartments. It was originally built in 1904 but looks much older. I have the estate agents details from around 1934ish which is interesting reading, briefly it had the following accommodation Lounge Hall, 3 Reception rooms, 9 bedrooms, 3 bathroom, Excellent Domestic Offices, Servants Hall, Stabling, Garage and Chauffeurs Rooms over (4 rooms and WC) 2 excellent cottages, stabling, loose boxes Coach-Houses and Kennels. Grounds 41.5 acres. The lounge, dining room and drawing room each communicate with a glazed parlour. These three rooms are designed that the oak dividing panels can be taken out in order to throw the whole accommodation into one for dancing extending to 60ft long and 16ft wide.
