Cooden Beach

I am researching my family's association with Bexhill and Cooden Beach. My father was born at a house called 'Derridean' at Cooden beach, also known as The little brown house. The house had been in the family for a long time, and I am hoping it still exists, if under another name. Any ideas welcome!
