I went to Merrydays from 1967 to 1969 Hazel. My name is Mark Phoenix, i think i am the Mark who proposed to you. My email is [email protected] I had a horrible time there, nightmares, wet my bed most nights, made to wash my own sheets, i was told i'm not allowed on the rocking horse 'Dobbin' because Dobbin doesn't like dirty boys, hardly say any family or visitors, my parents payed for me to stay at the school during the summer holidays while everyone else went home!

Horrific place! Amazed that parents didn’t realise how we were being treated. Toby and Towzer were the only good things there.
