Hi
I was just wondering why Bexhill has never been twinned with anywhere and if anyone knew anything about it?
Thanks
Matthew

Perhaps because there's nowhere quite like Bexhill??!!
Seriously though, according to this:

we have had "friendly associations" with the town of Merris in France in recent years.
Adopted Bayencourt

After WW1 Bexhill adopted Bayencourt (Somme) where the Sussex Regiment had been billeted for a while. Bexhill has roads Bayencourt North and South. It would be good if Bexhill could commemorate the part played in the Battle of the Somme as we approach the centenary.
